Why net zero emissions is important
The climate emergency is a pressing priority and calls for immediate action by all stakeholders. Current responses have not had the necessary impact; too little, too slow, too late, lacking leadership and lacking collaboration.
People are aware the way we are living is threatening to overwhelm the natural world and putting at risk the stability of the world their children and grandchildren will inherit. We need to drastically reduce carbon emissions. We need to do it now.
That is why we have chosen to focus our energy at The Rescope Project on collaboration between people and businesses to achieve Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050 at the latest. We believe companies offer the greatest opportunity to make a big impact and change the game, for all of us within the decade.
